Schnitzel Recipe

So I did not google for schnitzel recipes, I just decided that this is what I wanted to make. Funny, how, I was not far off. Will try some actual real schnitzel recipes in the future.

I’ve been a huge fan of Schnitzel for, all my life, but have never experienced it in the, “old country”. Still every time I see a place that has it, I give it a try.

If you are ever in the New Egypt NJ area – try this place – https://www.enjoysebastians.com/

If you happen to be in South Philly, try this place – https://brauhausschmitz.com/

If you are lucky enough to visit Durham NC, this place is the BOMB, https://guglhupf.com/

One day I bought this at Costco and it was really good.

Costco Ventera Pork Schnitzel Review

So I decided to experiment a little. Honestly, the one from Costco is delicious and easy to do, so if you are not inclined to follow my steps, I recommend the Costco version.

For the Mushroom Cream Sauce – https://www.romeosjulienne.com/post/mushroom-cream-sauce

Ingredients:

3 eggs beaten
panko bread crumbs
salt and pepper

Slice the Pork Tenderloin in ¼ inch slices

Lay them out on a baking sheet

Season them lightly with salt and pepper

Dip the pork slices in the egg and then coat with panko bread crumbs

Fry the pork cutlets in olive oil maybe 2 – 3 minutes per side – until they are golden
