The region is South East of Rioja and north of Valencia.
Even though the wine is 4 years old, it is still very young in color, aroma, and taste.
This is a fun and serious wine at the same time. Pairs nicely with some of our favorite cheeses. We recently had it with a Garrotxa De Cabra – a hard goat cheese.
Fresh ripe fruit on the palate, plums and berries, medium clean finish with light tannins and acid.
I would serve this wine with pork, pizza, pastas, any type of frijoles, and certain stews, like caldereta.
