Louis M. Martini Cabernet Sauvignon

Updated: May 2, 2022

After you see enough wine reviews, you start to see a pattern, certain descriptions may be used over and over.

That is to say that while a merlot, a cabernet, and a zinfandel, might all have ripe berries on the palate, they will all be very much distinctly different. Also, many merlots might not.

This cabernet has all of the great qualities characteristics of a young cabernet. Deep ruby color, ripe fruit on the nose, silky mouth feel with ripe black cherries in the initial taste followed by a long luxurious finish with light tanins.

So yeah, it sounds like many reviews, but, the review is to help you chose something. This is what you might want, or you might want something a bit more, earthy, then this wine is not for you. You ask the question, what wine experience do I want and see if this description is match, just like tinder, I guess.

You can get this cabernet at many places, but at Costco, you can find it for around $16.50 which make this a real treasure. It drinks like a $30 bottle, but at this price point it is on my weekend list rather than my once per month list.

We had it with ribs tonight, but I’m happy to just sip it with some homemade bread and some Cypress Grove Midnight Moon. - https://www.cypressgrovecheese.com/cheese/aged-cheeses/midnight-moon/
